Nappanee Boys & Girls Club celebrates school’s end
ADVANCE NEWS PHOTOS/MANDY MCFARLAND Friday, June 1 marked the beginning of summer break for WaNee kids. Members of the Nappanee Boys & Girls Club celebrated with a hot dog cookout on the lawn in front of the club. Members of the board of directors grilled and served hot dogs, chips, cookies and pop to the hungry crowd. Festivities included games like ball toss, hula-hooping and tug of war. At the end of the celebration, club members had the opportunity to have their name drawn to hit a staff member of their choice in the face with a pie.
