Letter to the Editor

Dear Editor, For the 10th year, the Christmas Jubilee was celebrated through Family Christian Development Center for families in the WaNee School District. A hug ethank you to the Community—each and every one of your efforts helped bless over 500 children from 200 families this year! A total of 5,805 Toys-4-Tots items were collected! Many area businesses, schools, and churches held special toy-raising events. Special thank-you to these organizations and corpora-

tions. The members of Tri-Kappa and Psi lota Xi are also to be thanked for their most generous efforts with their donations and time spent working the Jubilee. Thank you to the Noon Kiwanis for providing oranges—they were very much appreciated and enjoyed! Our Wa-Nee students also worked very hard in making the Jubilee successful. provide items for the event. Several of North Wood High School student organizations held food and toy drives which added to the amazing assortment and large number of toys we had available. Thank you to Judge Evan Roberts and the U.S. Marines "Toys-4-Tots" initiative. Marcus Johnson, director of the Nappanee Boys & Girls Club, was also generous enough to allow the event to be held in their gymnasium once again. Also, thank you to Wayne Scheumann and the Nappanee Park Department

for the use of their tables. A very special thank you needs to be said to Nicci Ressler, Jolinda Lengacher and their committee for organizing such a rewarding event. Your efforts, along with the numerous volunteers in our community, are a true blessing. Once again, thank you to the entire community for reaching out to help our "neighbors" who needed this the most. God Bless, The Family Christian Development Center
