FESTIVAL, continued from front 'tater fries. "Creating a family atmosphere with everything that it takes to feed, entertain and inspire has remained the goal of each year's edition of the festival for over four generations," says Pletcher. "The consistency, quality, attention to details and the well being of the artists are what sets this family-run event apart from other summer celebrations." First time exhibitors include Sharon Baisley of Hollywood, Fla. with her mixed media mosaics, using the natural materials of clay, wood and glass to create a pleasing marriage of mediums. Katherine Laine's booth has a whimsical Parisian style with white columns, glass shelves and white feather boas. Her jewelry is artistically alive from young and trendy to classically simple. What would a Picasso painting actually taste like? This question inspired Patricia Beckman of gourmet food mixes which are culinary tributes to fine artists and their lives. Packaged in stylish reusable tin containers, dips like "Basil Picasso Pesto Dip," "Georgia O'Chipotle Dip" and "Creme Brulee Monet." From acrylic paintings to antique restored copper fire extinguishers; from hand-sewn moccasins to "Big Belly Banks;" from fused glass to sepia photographers, festival goers will enjoy the ample variety, quality and interaction, with the juried artists and craftsmen. Admission is $6 per adult, free to those 11 years old and under. Free parking is available. North Wood High School to host local performers
