Nappanee Missionary Nappanee Missionary Church has announced its 2006 S.O.A.R. (Sowing in Others for Abundant Reaping) interns for the summer. Aaron Zehr, Kyle Neeley, Matt Mendenhall, Jeff Norris, Trent Prieshoff, Adam Sloan and Justin Romine began the 13-week discipleship/ internship summer program on May 23. The program will focus on developing the interns in four different areas: Leadership development, personal disciplines, ministry experience and spiritual discipleship. Along with the training, all seven interns will be immersed in several different facets of ministry ranging from senior and junior high ministries to college-age and even video/technical ministries. Mendenhall, Sloan and Romine are currently students of Bethel College in Mishawaka, Zehr and Prieshoff hail from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Neeley, who grew up in Bremen, is currently studying at Winthrop University in Charlotte, N.C. and Norris is from Union University in Jackson, Tenn. Nappanee Missionary Church has placed a high value on developing young leaders since the early 1980 s. The church started offering internships in 1982 to eager young men who were passionate about ministry and in 1997, launched the S.O.A.R. program. Since that launch, nearly 100 young men and women have made their way through the program and now serve in a large variety of positions all around the world. • i First Presbyterian Case Praise and Worship artist Sharron Kay King
