Baseball season comes to a close

The North Wood baseball team saw its season come to an end on June 1 at the Angola Sectional. Abel moves on to regionals After shooting a 79 at Spring Meadow Farm Golf Club in Middlebury, site of the Panthers sectional, North Wood senior Brad Abel qualified for the regional competition on June 8 at the Orchard Ridge Country Club in Fort Wayne. For the day, North Wood finished in sixth place with a score of 340. Comprising that score was: Brad Abel 79; Eric Hartstein 82; Braden Klotz 84 and Darrick Hill 95. Scott Hepler finished the day with a score of 97.
