The future bride is a 2002 graduate of North Wood High School, and will graduate from Purdue University in May with a nursing degree. The future groom is .the son of Dorothy and Peter Renton of Libertyville, 111. He is a 2001 graduate of Libertyville High School, and a 2005 graddate of Purdue University, with degrees in philosophy and religious studies. He is currently attending Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, where he plans to receive his master's of divinity degree. Schmucker LeAnna and Ezra Schmucker will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with an open house at Nelson's Banquet Hall in Wakarusa on May 7, from 2 to 4 p.m. The couple was married on April 30, 1966 in Leesburg by Rev. Bob Gerber. Their children are: Rod (Kathryn) Schmucker of New Berlin, Wise.; Ron (Kim) Schmucker of Leo; Brian (Robyn) Schmucker of Poneto; Carol (Troy) Glaser of Nappanee; and Corina (Tad) Gongwer of Wakarusa. They also have nine grandchildren. Ezra works at Travel Supreme in the sales department, while LeAnna is a homemaker. DeMien Mr. and Mrs. Walter DeMien will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on May 12. Walter DeMien and Mary Lou Heyde were married May 12, 1946 at the North Salem Church of God in Plymouth. - They have three children: Glen (Linda) DeMien of Nappanee, Jim (Virginia) DeMien of Plymouth and Shirley (Tim) Pearson of Plymouth. They have eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchil-dren. Walter retired from Bendix Corp. South Bend and Price Nurseries, Inc. in 1992, while Mary retired from Holy Cross Parkview Hospital. Both Walter and Mary DeMien are members of the North Salem Church of God. They will be celebrating their anniversary with a family gathering.
