CLASS OF 1945 The Nappanee High School Class of 1945 will meet for breakfast on Thursday, April 27 at 8:30 a.m. at Traditions Restaurant, 105 E. Lincoln St., Nappanee. PRAYER BREAKFAST The Nappanee Community Prayer Breakfast will be held on Thursday, May 4 at 7 a.m. at the Dal-Mar Banquet Hall, 159 E. Lincoln St., Nappanee. The event is sponsored by the Nappanee Ministerial Association and Nappanee Mayor Larry Thompson in celebration of National Day of Prayer. The guest speaker will be State Representative Jackie Walorski, with Cathy Gillam providing special music. RSVPs may be made by calling 773-2112 by April 28. SOCCER CLUB The North Wood Soccer Club will sponsor two teams, 14 & Under Boys and 14 & Under Boys for the fall 2006 season. These teams will play in the Northern Indiana Soccer League, which is a traveling league in Goshen, South Bend, Fort Wayne, Argos and Marion. Home field will be the North Wood Middle School field, with games being played on Saturday mornings and evenings, as well as Sunday evenings. The regular season begins on Sept. 9, with a postseason tournament running between Oct. 21 and 22. The boys coach will be Tom Fields, while Mitch Gerig will coach the girls. In order to play, the following guidelines must be followed: Be 14 years or younger on Aug. 1; pay registration fee of SSO; provide passport size photo; provide copy of birth certificate; provide own shoes and shin guards; and complete a registration form no later than July 1. David Edward Arch April 6, 2006 NAPLES, Fla. David E. Arch, 66, of Naples, Fla., and formerly of Wilmington, Del. and Southport, Maine, died Thursday, April 6, 2006 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was bom Sept. 26,1939 in Elkhart, a son of Edward W. Arch of Elkhart and the late Dorothy (Price) Arch. He graduated from Nappanee High School in 1957. David graduated from Indiana University in 1961 with a degree in Business Administration. He was employed by the E.I. DuPont Company in Wilmington for 30 years, retiring as a Senior Financial Manager. He was a U.S. Army National Guard veteran, and a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Wilmington.

She is survived by her son, Lee (Jane) Famey of Wakarusa; grandsons, Scott (Susan) Famey and Gabriel (Tina) Famey; and greatgrandson, Jacob Famey. Visitation was held at the Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 6. Services were conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 7 at the Nappanee Church of the Brethren. Rev. Paul Stauffer, Nappanee Church of the Brethren, officiated. Flores, 56, of Plymouth, died on Wednesday, April 5, 2006, at 1:45 p.m. in her home. Ventura is survived by her husband, Jose; son, Joe Angel Flores; daughter, Anna Alicia Flores Jimenez; grandson, Dominic Andrew Flores, all of Plymouth. Also surviving are her sisters, Josefina Oviedo of LaPaz, Inez Garcia of North Judson, Gloria Reyes of Nappanee, Hilda Stricklin of Preston, Ky. and Norma Farias of Plymouth; brothers, Elordor Perales of Raymondville, Texas and Ruben Perales of Pompano Beach, Fla.
