Police Report
iNappanee - At approximately 10:46 p.m. on Feb. 17, Nappanee Police -responded to a report of an intoxicated man walking in the area of !200 E. Lincoln St., Nappanee. Nappanee Patrolman Bill Bickel located the subject in an alley. I The male subject was intoxicated and refused to identify himself, ‘stating he didn't know who he was or where he lived. Identification ;was found on the subject, identifying him as David Anthony Vain ;Villarreal Jr., 22. * He was arrested for Public Intoxication, and while being put into the squad car, Villarreal began kicking the car, and resisting. • According to the police report, he had to be held down while being I transported to the Nappanee Police Department. Villarreal was then charged with Public Intoxication and Resisting Law Enforcement. Total bond was set at $3,000, and he .was transported to the Elkhart County Jail.

Fisher The family of Norma (Pittman) Fisher will hold an open house for family and friends to celebrate her 80th birthday. Norma has three daughters and one son: Gwen Hershberger (Phil) of Bremen; Shirley Blosser (Keith) of Nappanee; and Brenda Busch (John) of Syracuse; and Fred Fisher (Natheta) of Jefferson City, Tenn.. St. Germain Ryan St. Germain and Dawn Hepler of Bremen announce the birth of a son born at 2:52 a.m. on Oct. 5, 20Q5 at Community Hospital of Bremen. Caiden Ryan St. Germain weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces and was 20 inches long. He was welcomed home by one sibling, Taja Jordan, age 9. Grandparents are Richard and Mary Hepler of Bremen, Charles St. Germain of Merrillville and Val St. Germain of Elkhart.
