Noon KhMonis Club Submitted by Don Borger During last week's program, we were very pleased to welcome Rich Dodson, our football coach who brought three members of our championship football team from North Wood High School; Kyle Lehman, Derren Lengacher and Ryan Burkhart. The young men told us about their experiences over the past year of football and their plans for the future. It was a great experience meeting and talking with these fine young men, and feel the future holds much good things for them. We can be proud of them and the training that they have received from coach Dodson. Our young people are in GOOD HANDS with people like coach Dodson. The meeting last week was opened by President Jeff Kitson by ringing the bell, we all sang "America" and Nate Oglesbee offered the invocation. Kris Best reported on the possibility of buying International Calling Cards for S2O which can be given to our troops overseas allowing them to call home or wherever at no expense to them. If anyone has an interest in doing this valuable service, please contact Kris who has all of the necessary information. The 50/50 had slßl available, Vince had the winning ticket, but again the Joker was not pulled form the deck, so the money will be added to this weeks total.

First Presbyterian CHOIR CANTATA The FPC Choir will present a Christmas Cantata, "Shine on Us," during worship service on Dec. 18. The choir has been working on this beautiful musical since early September. During worship services on Oct. 9 and Nov. 3 selections from the cantata were presented by the choir. Each year, as the lights of Christmas are displayed, we are reminded of the dark night sky long ago in Bethlehem where a brilliant star blazed as a radiant beacon of hope and promise, guiding the shepherds to the newborn King, Jesus Christ, the true Light of the World. Illuminating the message of renewal, peace and faith in our Savior, this musical "Shine on Us" was carefully designed with the smaller choir in mind. Familiar hymns of "Joy to the World" and "Hark the Herald Angels Sing" to "Light of The Stable" and "Shine on Us," as well as a fun, upbeat moment of celebration with "A King is Bom" are part of the wonderful songs presented. This cantata is certain to ignite the spark of hope and redemption that shines in each of your hearts this Christmas. First Presbyterian Church welcomes you to this worship of music on Sunday, Dec. 18, 10:30 a.m. COFFEEHOUSE CAFE Dave's Might Harp, a blues/gospel band, will headline the FPC case Christian music evening at First Presbyterian Church Nappanee on Dec. 17, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Barry Clark, lead guitarist and vocalist of the band, founded the group four years ago.
