Annaßelle Hollar November 15, 2005 N APPANEE Annaßelle Hollar, 93, of Nappanee, died at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at her residence. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Wayne) Slabaugh of Nappanee; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren. Visitation was held from 2 to 4 p.m. on and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 18 at the Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. Services were conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19 at the funeral home, with Rev. Mark Stahl officiating. Burial was in the South Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the America Heart Association or to the First Mennonite Church. William C. Yoder Jr. November 16, 2005 BREMEN William C. Yoder Jr., 68, of Bremen, died at 4:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 16 at his residence. He is survived by his wife, Ada Mae Yoder; daughter, Lorene (Chris) Miller of Shipshewana; sons, Lonnie (Cathy) Yoder of (ioshen, Gerald (Edna) Yoder of Bremen, DeWayne (Judy) Yoder of New Paris and Glen (Debbie) Yoder of New Paris; 28 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Elizabeth Brown of Huntsville, Ala., Katie (Eli) Miller of Bremen, Martha Thomas of Bradenton, Fla. and Sarah Marie (Marvin) Miller of Bremen; brothers, Enos (Fannie) Yoder of Sarasota, Fla., Ezra (Alice) YodeF of Stratton, Colo., Rudy Yoder of Sarasota, Fla. and Clarence Yoder of Bennett, Colo. Visitation was held at the family residence after 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17 and all day Friday, Nov. 18. Services were conducted at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19 at the home of Lavem Schwartz. Bishop Thomas Borkholder, Old Order Amish Church, officiated. Burial v\;as in the Weldy Cemetery. Arrangements were made through the Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. James lee Bartman November 17, 2005 SYRACUSE James Lee Bartman, 69, of Syracuse, died Thursday, Nov. 17 at home. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Bartman; sons: Rodney (Sheryl) Bartman of Syracuse, John (Audra) Bartman of Warsaw and Erik (Teresa) Bartman of Syracuse; daughters: Denetta (David) King of Bellbrook, Ohio and Pam (Doug) Yoder of Nappanee; step daughters: Tereasa (Matt) Cox of Nappanee, Tami (Mike) Davis of Elkhart and Toni (Joe) Haas of Bremen; eight grandchildren; 16 step grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three step great grandchildren; brother, Harold Bartman Jr. of Syracuse; and sisters: Betty (Leroy) Chokey of Leesburg, Carmen Bickham of Rochester and Ruth Filley of Rochester. Visitation was held on Sunday, Nov. 20 from 2 to 8 p.m. at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. Services were Monday, Nov. 21 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Military graveside services were by Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Honor Guard. Burial was in the South Union Cemetery, Nappanee. Memorials may be made to Kosciusko County Hospice.

"It gave me incentive to get up and go, when I didn't want to," she said about the program. Carpenter said She quit smoking after two weeks in the program, and was also able to obtain a crib, mattress,, highchair and many other items from the program, including friendships. "Now, (Joshua) is happy and healthy," she said. "I'm enrolled in college courses, and I'm finally beginning to dream again."
