When you have a CHRONIC ILLNESS, THERE’S NO SUCH THING AS A DUMB QUESTION. Ask your doctors, your nurses, and therapists. Ask about your symptoms, your diet, and your treatments. Ask how your medicines work. Ask until you understand. The more you know about your condition, the more involved you can become with your health care providers, and the better they can respond to your specific concerns. So write down your questions in advance. Then write down their answers. Remember, everyone on your health care team works for you. It*s your right to ask. And their Job to answer. If* your health. every day. Afterwards, the floor was opened for everyone to share their most memorable Thanksgiving experiences. The Nappanee Early Bird Kiwanis club meets every Wednesday at 6:30 a.m. at The Country Table restaurant. Anyone who is interested in community service and fun fellowship is welcome. REGULAR MEETING President Jeff Krusenklaus opened the Nov. 23 meeting by the ringing of the traditional bell to a group reduced in numbers due to the Thanksgiving season, in which many families were traveling. The group in attendance was enthusiastic and all had an enjoyable time as usual. Ralph Greene had the winning 50/50 ticket, but refused to try for the Joker and returned the money to the 50/50 program. One of the reasons was that the pot held just $2. Next week's program will be brought by Marcus Johnson from the Nappanee Boys and Girls Club. We look forward to hearing all the latest news about the Boys & Girls Club. Marcus is doing a fine job at that club and we look forward to hearing what's new. The Nappanee Noon Kiwanis meets every Tuesday at the DalMar meeting room and all are welcome for a good hot meal and interesting program.
