Red Regiment t o compete in Bands of America Regional contest
WA-NEE The Red Regiment will be competing in the Bands of America Regional contest in Indianapolis at the RCA Dome. Thirty four bands from across the nation will be participating in this huge extravaganza that showcases the finest marching programs in the nation. These thirty four bands will be competing for ten spots to compete in the finals competition later that evening. Within this competition for the top 10 spots, there are also class awards consisting of Best Music, Best Visual, and Best .♦General Effect. PUBLIC QUESTION No. 1 Shall Article 10, Section 1 of the Constitution of the state of Indiana be amended to allow the general assembly to make certain property exempt from property taxes, including (1) a homeowner's primary residence; (2) personal property used to produce income; and (3) inventory? PUBLIC QUESTION 2 Shall Article 6, Section 2 of the Constitution of the state of Indiana be amended to allow the general assembly to establish a uniform date for the beginning of the terms of the county offices of clerk of the circuit court, auditor, recorder, treasurer, sheriff, coroner and surveyor? PUBLIC QUESTION 3 Shall Article 5, Section 10 of the Constitution of the state of Indiana be amended to specify: (1) which state official acts as governor when the office of governor and the office of lieutenant governor are both vacant; and (2) the deadline for the general assembly to meet when either the house or the senate cannot
7:30 am in order to prepare for their 7:45 a.m performance time Saturday. The final rehearsal will take place Friday from 8 a to 11 a.m. before they depart for Indianapolis at noon. The Red Regiment will be performing on Saturday morning at 7:45 a.m. They are the first band to kick the day’s events off! At 5:30 p.m., the preliminary competition will conclude and the awards presentation will take place on the RCA Dome floor. If the Red Regiment wins their class or attains a Top 10 score, they will advance to the finals competition which will begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are sl4 and can be purchased at the gate of the RCA Dome.
