Death Notices Cassel J. Hoke ELKHART- Cassel Jacob Hoke. 80. died at Elkhart General Hospital. Mr. Hoke was a member of the Nappanec Church of the Brethren and the Ben Franklin Stamp Club. He is survived by one son, Denton (Debra) Hoke and two daughters, Deborah (Robert) Harrington and Davona (Kendall) Anglemyer. , A memorial service will be held on Oct. 31 at I p.m. at the Nappanee Church of the Brethren. Mast. 40, of Elkhart died Oct. 18 at 11:45 a.m. at Elkhart General Hospital of a sudden illness. He is survived by his mother, Donene Welch of Goshen; two brothers, Kevin Mast of Centreville. Mich, and Dale (Judy) Mast of Elkhart; one sister, Esther Sias of Sturgis, Mich.; and his fiancee, Karen Kidder of Elkhart. Visitation was held at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home of Nappanee on Oct. 20 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and for one hour prior to the funeral service on Oct. 21. Funeral services were held at Nappanee First Brethren Church on Oct. 21 at 10:30 a.m. with the Pastor Tom Schiefer officiating. Burial was at South Union Cemetery. Memorials may be dedicated to Nappanee First Brethren Church. Glade B. Weldy October 18,20(54 ELKHART - Glade Burton Weldy. 81. of Wakarusa died at 11:54 p.m. at Elkhart General Hospital. Mr. Weldy was a teacher and coach for Wakarusa and Penn-Harris-Madison schools. He was the owner/operator of Wakarusa Lumber Co., sold insurance and real estate and also worked at Meijer in Goshen. He is survived by one daughter, Lori (Terry) Miller of Millersburg; two sons, Terry (Pat) Weldy of Nappanee and Larry (Becky) Weldy of Salt Lake City, Utah: two sisters, Elma Shekel of Wakarusa and Flora Bowser of Bremen; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Visitation was held at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret-Lienhart Funeral Home of Wakarusa on Oct. 21 from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Oct. 22 for one hour prior to the service. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Oct. 22 at the funeral home with the Rev. Brooks Henry of Bible Baptist Church officiating. Burial was at Olive (West) Cemetery Memorial contributions may be dedicated to the benevolent fund at Bible Baptist Church of Wakarusa. *' ' Ivan J. Yoder October 19,2004 NAPPANEE - Ivan J. Yoder. 74, of Nappanee died Oct. 19 at 7:15 a.m. at his residence. He had been ill for four years. He is survived by his wife. Wilma; four sons, Glenn Ray (Ruby) Yoder, Steven Jay (Kathleen) Yoder, Dennis Earl (Ruth Ann) Yoder and Carl Dean (Ruby Fern) Yoder, all of Etna Green; two daughters, Carolyn Sue (Earl) Miller and Brenda Kay Yoder, both of Nappanee; three brothers, Edwin Yoder of Etna Green, Melvin Yoder of Nappanee and Elmer Yoder of Goshen; and four sisters. Edna Helmuth of Bremen, Mary (Levi) Chupp of Etna Green, Martha (Walter) Miller of Nappanee ants Lizzie (Lamar) Hochstetler of Nappanee. The body lay in state at the family home at 8314 W. 1050 N. after 2 p.m. Oct. 20 and all day Oct. 21. The funeral wus held at the Chris Yoder residence at 8376 W. 1050 N. on Oct. 22 at 9:30 a.m. Burial was at Grader Cemetery. The Bishop Noah Borkholder officiated the service and was assisted by Home Ministries.

Slabaugh An open house will be held on Saturday. Oct. 30 from 5 to 7 p.m. for Annette and Dan Slabaugh to celebrate their 23rd wedding anniversary. The open house will be hosted by sisters.
