Bonneyville Mill Baking Contest

ELKHART Dust off that recipe box and turn on that oven! The 2004 Bonneyville Mill Baking Contest will be held on Saturday. Sept. 18 at Bonneyville Mill County Park. The purpose of the contest is to promote the use of (lour products produced at Bonneyville Mill. Entrants must pick up entry forms at Bonneyville Mill. Rush Memorial in Bristol or the Elkhart! County Parks Administration Office, i 211 W. Lincoln Ave. in Goshen. Categories for the contest are: bread, cake, pies (no cream pies), sweet bread, quick bread, cookies, bread machine and other. Entries are due from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with the judging taking i place at 12 p.m. The grand prize winner will receive SIOO and a commemorative plaque. Grand prize money will be donated by the BEE-Hive Bed & Breakfast. First place for each category will receive $25 and second place will receive $lO.
