Net gain for NW girls
By Ron Haramia Sports Editor NAPPANEE great start to the 2004 volleyball season for Peg Bough s Lady Panthers, highlighted by their win at the Prairie Heights Invitational last weekend. Leading the hit parade for the NW netters have been senior Audrey Duncan, junior Ericka Stouder. junior Joslynn Focht. and senior Lizzie Burns. Sophomore Casey Bough is the team's leading setter and had an amazing 77 assists at the Prairie View Invite. Focht. Up next for North Wood are Northejn Lakes Conference matches against Concord (today at Concord in the NLC opener) and Plymouth (home, Sept. 9), with a non-confer-ence date against South Bend Riley (home. Sept 7) squeezed in between. “Concord is one of the strongest teams in the area,” Bough said: “They must be considered cofavorites with Elkhart Memorial to win the NLC title this year. Both of these teams are also capable of mak-
