Miller, Yoder united in marriage

WAKARUSA Darrell Yoder and Cindy Miller were united in marriage July 19,2003 at 4 p.m. at the Wakarusa Missionary Church. Gene Troyer performed the double ring ceremony. Groom Darrell Yoder was the vocalist. The bride wore a chiffon mermaid gown with a cowl drape, empire bodice and a sequin and crystal detail bustline. The dress had sheer sleeves featuring a flounced cuff. Miller wore a headpiece with a cathedral length veil. The maid of honor was Connie Yoder, sister of the groom, of Middlebury. The bridesmaids were Amy Schwartz, sister of the bride, of Nappanee; Monica Lehman, sister of the bride, of Nappanee; Alicia Miller, sister of the bride, of Nappanee; Brenda Yoder, friend of the bride, of Wawaka. and Gloria Helmuth. friend of the bride, of Bremen.

Miniature bride was Kiersten Lehman, niece of the bride, of Nappanee. Flower girls were Tessa Lehman, niece of the bride, of Nappanee, and Kami Schwartz, niece of the bride, of Nappanee. The bride’s attendants wore apple red, floor length dresses with drape necks and spaghetti straps. They accessorized with an organza wrap and matching strap sandals. The best man was Mark Troyer. friend of the groom, of Fort Wayne. The groomsmen were LaMar Yoder, brother of the groom, of Topeka; Daniel Dies, friend of the groom, of Hartsville; John Brindle, friend of the groom, of Hartsville, N.C.; Raphael Cardos, friend of the groom, of Clermont, Fla., and Michael Wall, friend of the groom, of Altoon. Penn. Miniature groom was Kaiser Schwartz, nephew of the bride, of Nappanee.

Sharps to celebrate 50 years

MILFORD Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Sharp of Leesburg will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house Saturday, April 3 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Wawasee Community Bible Church in Milford. Thompson. The couple have three children; Danny Sharp of Milford, Scott Sharp of Hudsonville. Mich, and Timothy Sharp of Hudsonville, Mich. They have eight grandchildren. Mr. Sharp js employed by Supersweet Farm Service'in Foraker. Mrs. Sharp is secretary for the Dutchtown Brethren Church in Warsaw. The couple requests no gifts.

Berkley, Byler to wed NAPPANEE Stephanie Berkey and Bobby Byler are engaged to be married on May 21 at the Nappanee Missionary Church. Berkey, daughter of Bruce and Sue Berkey of Nappanee, graduated from North Wood High School in 2000. She is currently pursuing an elementary education degree from Bethel College, with plans to graduate in the spring of 2004. Byler is the son of Bob and Jan Byler of Bronson, Mich. He is a 2001 graduate of Bronson High School and is currently attending Bethel College, working on a degree in chemical engineering, with plans to graduate from TriState University, Angola in May of 2006. He is employed as a salesman at Best Buy. After the wedding, the couple will reside in Bronson, Mich.

Sauer, Croy to unite in marriage NAPPANEE Nicki L. Sauer and Dustin Scott Cray announce their engagement. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Kim and Nick Sauer of Nappanee. She is a 2001 graduate of North Wood High School and is employed by Nappanee Wood Products in Nappanee. The groom-to-be is the son of Bonnie and Randy Croy of Nappanee. He is a 2002 graduate of North Wood High School and is employed by Adorn of Elkhart. He is also currently an EMT for the city of Nappanee. The couple plan a June 19 wedding at the Nappanee United Methodist Church.
