• The North Wood High School Wind Ensemble trav- ' tied to Indianapolis on Jan. 14 to perform at the Indiana Music Educator’s Association State Convention. After an audition process, this honor is bestowed upon the very best ensembles in the state of Indiana. East year there were only two concert bands/wind ensembles that were extended invitations to perform. The NWHS Wind Ensemble performed Jan. 16 at 1:30 p.m. in the Capital Rooms of the Westin Hotel in Indianapolis. Later that evening, North Wood and the world famous Dallas Brass presented the headline concert for the entire convention at 8 p.m. This opportunity was a spectacular way to showcase the talent of the students at North Wood High School in such a huge spotlight.
