Black Swish upsets St. Joe in overtime ByMarkMilwl NorthWoodAthletics.com NAPPANEE Carrie Egging went 3-of-4 at the foul stripe and scored five of her team's 12 overtime points as North Wood (2-1) topped visiting N 0.6 South Bend St. Joseph's 69-59. The Black Swish got 17 points and five of their 10 3-pointers from Lauren Zeltwanger, 14 points from Audrey Duncan and 11 each from Egging and Jessica Focht. North Wood outscored St. Joe 12-2 in the extra session. St. Joseph's led the game from the tipoff until midway through the fourth quarter when North Wood tied the game and then took the lead. Outstanding 3-point shooting by the Lady Panthers helped get them back into the game and then seal the victory in overtime. Prior to Tuesday’s contest, the Lady Indians were ranked #2 in Class 3A girls basketball for the state of Indiana.
