Nappanee Missionary Church Sunday School teacher writes book
► Hunt's book focuses ON SPIRITUAL REVIVAL Dw UJL oy noiiy neiier For the Advance News BREMEN Twenty-five years of teaching Sunday school have inspired Bremen resident Jerry Hunt to write his first book and complete a lifelong goal in the process. “It’s been a goal of my life,” Hunt said. “I’ve always wanted to write a book. Over the years of teaching Bible I took some of the concepts I learned from scripture and put it in book form." The end result: “Seasons of Refreshing: The Hunger for Spiritual Renewal.” The book leads readers down a path toward revival through 12 chapters of practical applications. “This is a teaching book on spiritual renewal, or personal revival,” he

“That person has been treated and is being treated,” said Sarah Burkholder with the Elkhart County Health Department ‘They do not have any contact with die public.” The health department recently completed its second round of TB skin tests in Nappanee. His book leads readers down a path toward revival. He discusses the need for personal revival and also explains how to

induce this and maintain its effects, rather than slipping back in to the old way of living. He also calls for a national revival of Americans that
begins at the Jerry Hunt local church level. The book ends with a plan of action for Christians to experience a revival in faith. “More and more Christians are hungering for spiritual renewal, yet there are few books that guide people in their own personal quest to feel this rejuvenation. ‘Seasons of Refreshing’ leads readers towards a strenthened journey with Jesus.” The book is set to be the first of a Continued on A 2
TB. “It simply means they have been exposed to the bacteria at some point in their lives,” Burkholder added. The symptoms of TB include a fever or long-term cough, unexplainable weight loss or problems with lung infections. Even though a total of 30 people tested positive, the health department is convinced there is no TB bacteria floating around Nappanee. of the local restaurants, taverns or private clubs. The tests led health department officials to draw two conclusions. The people who tested positive spent hours at some of the affected drinking establishments where the TB victim spent time, or they had prolonged face to face exposure to the person or shared living space with them. Either way there is not a TB epidemic in the Nappanee area. The people who have tested positive have been given chest x-rays and medication to ensure they never become active carriers of the disease.
