Christmas musical at Nappanee Missionary
NAPPANEE The Worship Choir of the Nappanee Missionary Church will present the annual Christmas musical on Saturday, Dec. 14 and Sunday, Dec. 15 at 7 p.m. The Saturday presentation will be preceded with an informal fellowship time featuring light refreshments and caroling, starting at 5:45 p.m., in the church's Grand Hall. The 180-voice choir and orchestra will present Clair Cloninger and Mark Hayes’ work, “Everlasting Light.” The message of the musical speaks about God's separation of darkness from the light. Because of man's sinful nature, God sent His Light to redeem the world. While Christmas is celebrated as a season of light with all the world seemingly full of hope, Christmas also may serve as a reminder of the darloiess in many
ages in these boxes or you can bring your donations to the center offices at 151 S. Locke St. Your donations will stay in the community and will be given to families who live here. Last year the community was able to 'righten. the lives of 500 children and this year the need is great, if not greater. Please remember your community this holiday season as you make room in your heart for a child in need.
lives—particularly those without the true Light, Jesus Christ. Everlasting Light was created to help us examine the darkness around us, and to offer the Light of men as our only Hope. The presentation combines traditional Christmas carols, such as “Good Christian Men, Rejoice,” "Oh Holy Night,” and “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing," with original, powerful pieces, including “Season of Light.? “Light of a Million Mornings,” and “Everlasting Light.” Dave Engbrecht, senior pastor, invites the public to these special Christmas presentations. Nappanee Missionary Church is located at the comer of S.R. 19 and C.R. 50, just north of Nappanee. For more information, call the church office at 574-773-7773 or visit www.nmcl.org.
