RON KEISER PHOTO Golf Course views The recently-completed improvements to the McCormick Creek Golf Course in Nappanee include this vastly-changed area formerly known as 'Cow Creek." The area was overgrown and unsightly, and has now been changed into an attractive, grassy area with stoned crossovers leading onto the course. The weekend weather, although a bit crisp, allowed local golfers the chance to enjoy yet another round of their favorite sport before the snow flies.
Reminder to fans The North Wood High School Athletic Department would like to remind Panther fans that orders for season basketball tickets are due in the athletic office by the close of school on Friday, November 1. An order blank and complete information appeared in the Oct. 16 issue of The Advance News. The draw for selection of tickets will be published Wednesday, November 6 and tickets will be selected the evening of Monday, November 11.
