Timothy D. Wentz July 20, 1946-Jan. 7, 2002 Timothy D. Wentz, 55, 758 E. Lincoln St., Nappanee, died Monday evening, January 7, in the Elkhart General Hospital Emergency Room, unexpectedly, of natural causes. Born July 20, 1946, in Hartford City, he was the son of Gerald and Ruby (Trussel) Wentz. He moved to Nappanee in 1986 from the Muncie area, and married Carol Hollar Bower, June 14, 1986, in Nappanee. Mr. Wentz was a 1964 graduate of Hartford City High School. He earned his BA from Indiana State University and his masters from Ball State University. He was a guidance counselor at Schmucker Middle School. He was a member of Nappanee Church of the Brethren and of the BMW Motorcycle Owners of America. Surviving with Mrs., Wentz are his parents, of Warren; a son, Kye Wentz, Anderson; six grandchildren; a brother, Joe (and Marge) Wentz, Winfield; a sister, Mrs. Mark (Christine) Kevitt, Columbus, a niece and a nephew. He was preceded in death by a twin brother, Tom Wentz. The Rev. Paul Stauffer conducted services Friday morning, January 11, at the Nappanee Church of the Brethren, with burial at Bremen Cemetery. Arrangements were with Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. Memorials may be made to the Nappanee Church of the Brethren. E. ISABELLE CORL Sept. 21, 1914-Jan. 7, 2002 E. Isabelle Corl, 87, Miller’s Merry Manor, Wakarusa, formerly of Nappanee and Elkhart, died Monday, January 7 at her residence. Bom September 21, 1914 in Tippecanoe, she was the daughter of Fred and Elma (Chivington) Sechrist and lived most of her life in Kappanee and Elkhart area, She married Ward C. Corl on May 28, 1931, who preceded her in death on April 15, 1974. She was a housewife and co-owner of Ward’s Bait & Tackle in Edwardsburg, Michigan. She was also a former member of Nappanee United Methodist Church. Surviving are four daugh-

He had been ill since November of 2001. Bom October 16, 1916 in Bourbon, he was the son of Kelsey and Sarah (Lemler) Miller and a lifetime area resident. He married Laura Jane Brumbaugh on May 10, 1941 in Plymouth. He retired in 1981 from Mutschlers after 25 years and served in the army during World War 11. He was also a member of the Nappanee Church of the Brethren. > Mr. Miller served on the Ndppanee Police Reserves' for 16 years, attaining the rank as sergeant.
