Offers ‘Trees in Memory’
The National Arbor Day Foundation’s Trees in Memory program is making it possible for people to help replant America's national forests while also honoring deceased family and friends. For every $lO donated through TVees in Memory, the Arbor Day Foundation plants 10 trees in national forests that have been damaged by fire, disease, or insects. The Foundation also sends a card to those making such a gift, which they can present to the family of the person they have chosen to honor. Sunday, February 13, some time after closing, or during the early morning hours of Monday, February 14, burglars broke into Angelos Restaurant, located in the 1000 block of W. Bristol St. in Elkhart. The suspects removed the lock on the front door to gain entry. Once inside, they went into the office area, where they used a pry bar to open the safe. An undetermined amount of money and checks were taken from the safe. The Elkhart Police and Crime Stoppers need your help to solve this case.
