For six years, North Wood students have been phoning many of you to ask for your support in this endeavor. In typical North Wood supporter tradition, you responded with generosity and caring, with pledges totaling $23,000. Along with the many Wa-Nee area clubs, organizations, and individuals that give scholarships, wc are hopeful that your generosity will allow scholarships to be awarded to all students who applied. As President of our Dollars-for-Scholars chapter, I would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks to all donors. We are so fortunate to live in communities where our schools are well known for the support they receive, be it in our rich sports tradition, band, academic teams, anything our students are involved in. It is truly gratifying to see this same support for students who want to continue their education. We can only hope that some of these students who want to continue their education. We can only hope that some of these students will return to our area when they complete their education. We would love to see them continue this great Wa-Nee tradition of caring, participation and giving, wonderful parts of what makes our area such a great place to live and raise our families. Once again, on behalf of our Dollars-for-Scholars Board, and all North Wood seniors who will benefit from your donation, thank you, thank you, thank you. Don Abel, President North Wood Dollars-for-Scholars
