Earns leadership award Matthew Schrock has been awarded a Leadership Achievement | Award of $4,300 to study at Goshen College. The scholarship is renewable for four years of study at Goshen College. Recipients must meet at least two of the following criteria to be eligible to apply: be National Merit Scholars; earn at least a 1270 ;on the SAT or 29 on the ACT; rank first in their class; or have a grade point average of at least 3.8. Final selection is based on a written essay and the degree of leadership the student shows in extracurricular activities in school, church and community. The award is renewable if the recipient posts at least a 3.2 GPA at Goshen. Schrock is the son of Thomas and Ruth Schrock, Nappanee, and a graduate of North Wood High School. Goshen College is a four-year, national liberal arts college known for leadership in international education and peace and justice issue,' in the Anabaptist-Mennonite tradition.
