• IN CONCERT—IMAGE, will be in concert, Sunday, August 15,6 pm, at First Church of God, corner of CR7 ana CRS4, Nappanee.The concert is free, however, a love offering will be received. IMAGE is comprised of three members who ‘desire to live a life that portrays an image of Jesus Christ." Those members include Jay Rouse, Vice-President of publishing sor 5 the Praise Gathering Music Group. He is an accomplished keyboard artist who has toured with The Bill Gaither Trio and Sandi Patti. Amy Ransom Rouse has been a featured soloist with the Bill Gaither Trio. Marc Clarke is Director of Operations for the Praise Gathering Music Group, and works as a studio musician in central Indiana. The group believes ‘that because He came, we must go into all the world, with no fear of the darkness, knowing that through His power we will conquer the night." VBS travels the globe The Nappanee Brethren In Christ Church, 1601 North Main Street, Nappanee, will sponsor an exciting five-day Vacation Bible School, August 9-13, 9a.m.-11a.m.. The facility is located one mile north of Nappanee one and one-half miles west, at the comer of CRIOI and CRS2. S& The “haystack” consists of crushed soda crackers, lettuce, rice, com g&hips, diced tomatoes, taco seasoned hamburger with barbecue sauce, peppers, onions and topped with cheese sauce, j? Tlie supper will also include pie, ice cream, fruit punch and coffee. There will also be a bake sale, and carry-outs are available. This annual supper is known to be a relaxing evening with good food and lots of visiting with old and new friends. Everyone is welcome. Host summer fundraiser North Main Street Mennonite Church, Nappanee, is holding a fundraiser event to collect money for a church van. Saturday, August 7, will feature a carwash from Ba.m.-noon; along with a garage-bake-craft sale. The garage sale will feature used items including children’s clothing and household items. The bake sale will feature homemade delights of all types. The crafts will be newly hand-crafted items. The church is located at 504 North Main Street, Nappanee. Stop by rain or shine. Haystack benefit offers musical performance The annual benefit haystack supper for the South Union Center Amish School will be held from 4p.m.-Bp.m., Friday, August 6, at West Park Pavilion, North Nappanee Street, Nappanee. This annual dinner is known to have good food and a relaxing atmosphere as patrons listen to the music performed by the Schmidt Family. Fundraiser set at First Mennonite Members and friends of the North Main Street Mennonite Church, 504 N. Main St., Nappanee, are planning a fundraiser, Saturday, August 7, from Ba.m.2p.m. The event will feature a craft and bake sale, held in the church fellowship hall. Outdoors, in the church parking lot, there will be a garage sale, with lots of bargains available, in addition to a car wash and concession stand. Funds raised will go toward the purchase of a van for service trips and other church functions.
