List dart league results The following results have been announced by the Torch Lounge Mixed Doubles Dart League, for play as of November 23. Frosh earn NLC victory North Wood’s freshman girls’ basketball team moved to 2-1 on the season with last week’s 35-33 overtime win over Northern Lakes Conference foe Warsaw. LceAnn Davidhizar paced the offense with 11 points, and she added three rebounds and two assists. Rachel Trinkley scored six points to go along with two rebounds, Chandra Whitehead had eight points and three rebounds and Kristin Speed added six points. Wawasee tops sixth cagers The Nappanee Elementary sixth grade boys’ basketball “A” team fell to Wawasee, 30-24, in a contest played November 23. Kirk Mast led all scorers with 20 points, and Trent Chupp added four. Mast also grabbed a team-high 12 rebounds. The “B” team lost 34-19, with Justin McDonald putting in six points, Jay Wenger and Elliott Lentz each four and Albert Garcia and Peter Lulinski each two. Both teams moved to 1-4 on the season. Panthers drop Grissom The seventh “A” Panther basketball team moved past Grissom 4632 in a contest played November 23, at North Wood. The Panthers were paced by Joe Sabo and Phil BeMiller, each with 10 points and five rebounds, while teammate Toby Mast tossed in nine, and Trent Mast and Mike Bechtel each added five. Mast also had two assists and four steals, with Bechtel also having four steals. Eighth “A” made it a sweep over Grissom with a 59-44 victory, led by Ryan Bradley’s 23 points and four assists. Robbie Lightfoot and Jordan Adams were also in double figures with 18 and 10 points respectively. Adam Leeper chipped in eight points, and Brandon Hall grabbed six rebounds for the winners, who are 4-0 on the season. Grissom dropped to 7-2. Concord falls at home North Wood’s seventh grade “B” basketball team smashed Concord last week, winning 43-13 at Concord. Josh Greenlee led the Panthers with 12 points, five rebounds and five assists. Josh Leinbach added seven points, four rebounds and two assists, Cody Burkholder had six points, four rebounds and four assists, David Brown and Heath Yoder each scored four points, with Brown also snaring five rebounds and handing out two assists and Yoder hauling down a team-high nine rebounds to go along with six assists. Eighth “B” slipped by Concord in overtime, 44-43, led by Andy Hostetter with 11 points and six steals. Josh Estepp added seven points, Jason Stump and Jeff Hertsel each had six, and Kyle Martin and Peter Widmer added four apiece. Hertsel also grabbed eight rebounds. Celtics remain unbeaten Play continues in the fifth grade boys’ Panther Basketball League, with the following results announced from last week. The 4-1 Pacers slipped by the 3-2 Pistons, 33-28. The winners were led by Zac Lechlitner with 15 points. Kyle Yoder and Jared Stump each added five and Nate Davidhizar and Ryan Burkhart four apiece. For the Pistons, Ben Bemiller scored 10, Chad Haviland and Derren Lengacher each six, Andrew Heckaman four and Brad Paulus two. The Bulls earned their first win of the season against four losses, taking the 0-5 Lakers, 26-20. Leading the Bulls were Kodi Diemer with seven and Cody Deavers and Daric Stump each with six points. Brent Hollar added five and Rickie Todd two. For the Lakers, Kyle Lehman had seven points, Brad Stump four, Andrew Slone, Jeremy Wortinger, Josh Yoder and Josh Salazar each two and Cory Emery one. The Celtics continued their impressive season, moving to 5-0 with a 41-23 win over the 2-3 Spurs. Leading the Celts was Ryne Lightfoot with 18 points and Trevor Hershberger, also in double figures with 14. Andrew Kim added three, and Matt Cook, Kyle Witmer and Robert Meadows each two. For the Spurs, Ross Baughman dropped in 15 points, with Greg Miller adding four and Neil Trinkley and Joey Hahaj each two.
