St. Dominic's Church, Bremen, was the scene for the August 22 wedding which united Diane Whelan, daughter of .Larry and Helen Whelan, 555 E. Woodview Dr., Nappanee, and Brian Thomason, son of Richard and Carole Thomason, Elkhart, in marriage. The ceremony was performed by Father Terry Fisher. Music for the ceremony was provided by Carolyn Miller, organist and James Beath and Samantha Sheets, vocalists. The bride chose Bridget Lyden as her maid of honor, and Amy Hahn, Angie Newberry and Kristin Bonacorsi as bridesmaids. Mike Kisala served the groom as best man. with Anthony Petrucci, Christian Petrucci and Ryan Peorce as groomsmen. Louis and Toni Bonacorsi and Bremen plans It was announced last week that the churches of the Bremen comSponsor animal tales/puppet show Storyteller David White will entertain the whole family with puppets and talcs of animals at Woodlawn Nature Center, Saturday, October 17, 2p.m.. Participants will have fun and learn about animal behavior, habits and habitats as David shares his Native American animal legends. David and Peggy Tonipos served as reception hosts at the Dal-Mar Banquet Hall, with Rachel Menzie, Pam Peffley and Rita Seitz as servers. The bride is a 1993 North Wood High School graduate, and graduated from the Purdue University School of Pharmacy, West Lafayette in 1998. She works as a pharmacist for Walgreens, Schaumburg. Illinois. Mr. Thomason graduated from Mishawaka Marian High School in 1992, and from Purdue University School of Technology in 1998. He is an information technology specialist for IBM in Schaumburg. Following a honeymoon in Maui, Hawaii, they are residing at 102 Allerton Dr., Schaumburg, Illinois 60194. Holy Walk munity will once again sponsor the Holy Walk. Dates for this year's pageant, held outdoor each Christmas season. will be Friday and Saturday, December 18-19.

Mr. and Mrs. Allen Losson Jones are at home at 115 Village Dr.. Lynchburg, Virginia, following their June 13 wedding, and a honeymoon in Hawaii, after a stop in Arizona for a wedding reception. Mrs. Jones is the former Brooke Kidron Myers, daughter of the Rev. John and Mary Myers, 501 W. Market St., Nappanee. Her husband’s parents are the Rev. Jim and Ruth Jones. Humboldt. Arizona. The Rev. Dave Engbrecht. assisted by both fathers, performed the ceremony, at Nappanee Missionary Church, in the presence of 300 guests. Music was provided by Dan Roberts and Tom and Dee Marlin. The bride, who chose a gown of white organza and satin with full lavered skirt, designed and made

The bride is a second-year nursing student at Liberty University, Lynchburg, and her husband graduated from Liberty in 1997. with a degree in psychology.
