English skills 'brushup' offered at NWHS

Do you know anyone who would like to improve his/her English skills? There will be an English as a Second Language (ESL) class this fall, as part of the Wa-Nee Continuing Education classes. The class is designed for individuals with limited English skills, who primarily want to improve their communication skills, although reading and writing will also be practiced. Taught by North Wood Spanish instructor, Maria Huber, the class will be held at North Wood High School, Room 911, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:30-8:30p.m., beginning September 15. The class costs S2O, and meets for six weeks (12 classes). Registration forms are available at the Nappanee Public'"Library, Color Copier User Club meets at library Full color copying is available at the Nappanee Public Library. Training sessions are held the third Tuesday of each month, with the next training session scheduled 1 for Tuesday, September 15, 7p.m. Interested in sharing ideas on the uses of the color copier? Persons who receive at least one hour of free training are eligible to become a member of the Color Copier User Club. Benefits include additional free training, discounted pricing and free test copies. The Color Copier User Club, under the leadership of Dr. Mark Hutsell, meets the third Thursday of every month, with the next meeting set for Thursday, September 17. 7p.m. Please call the library at 7737919 to pre-register no later than Friday, September 11, for the training session and/or Color Copier User Club.
