Records set as swimmers compete

New Prairie and North Wood Middle School swim teams tied 85-85 in competition held last week. First-place finishers for the Panthers were Candace Doriot, 100 individual medley and 100 breaststroke; Nick Larsen, 50 free; Charity Hochstetler, 50 fly; Zebulon Holsopple, 400 free and 100 back, and Veloris Hess, Nicole Adcock, Candace Doriot and Charity Hochstetler, 200 free relay. Zebulon Holsopple set new records in the 400 free and 100 back, Candace Doriot in the 100 breast, C.J. Cunningham in the 100 breast, Charity Hochstetler in the 100 back, and Brea Persing in the one-meter diving.
