The free storytelling service is available on a 24-hour basis and is just one of the options on the information line, 773-7920. The story changes on Monday each week to give a maximum number of children a chance to hear a tale before it changes.

Tuesday, March 10, 7-9p.m.. She will discuss her book, “Vindication.” This historical fiction novel resurrects the life and times of the trailblazing feminist, Mary Wollstonecraft. She survived a brutal childhood, witnessed the French Revolution, and spent several weeks in the Bedlam Insane Asylum. Mary, a member of London’s radical set, was intellectually ahead of her time. Frances Sherwood lives in South bend where she teaches at Indiana University of South Bend. She is a former Stegner Fellow at Stanford University and the recipient of an NEA Grant. Awards, are collected in the volume, “Everything You’ve Heard Is TYue.” “Indiana Revisited” is the theme for the spring "Let’s Talk About It” book discussion series. All the books selected are written by Indiana Authors. The public is invited to come attend any and all of these free sessions. Transportation will be provided if needed. Committee schedules promotions Persons in attendance at the February meeting of the Nappanee Chamber of Commerce Retail Division, voted to plan six business promotions for the year, instead of the original plan for one a month. Remaining promotions will be the March 25-28 End of Winter Sale, a July 16-18 Sidewalk Days Sale, August 13-16 Art Festival promotion, September 18-20 Apple Festival celebration and November 19-29 Country Christmas. All local businesses are asked to mark their calendars and plan to participate in these special events. The next meeting for the retail division will take place Thursday, March 5, at The Homespun Country Inn, 302 N. Main St., Nappanee. All interested persons are welcome. Breakfast is at 7a.m., with the meeting beginning promptly at 7:30a.m.
