VETERANS DAY SERVlCE—Nappanee American Legion Commander Bill German, left, and Barney Stouder, honorary chaplain for the legion, participate in Nappanee's Veterans Day memorial service, Tuesday, November 11, at Post 154. In his speech to those gathered, German stated, 'American war veterans' collective experiences span world wars and many foreign conflicts...all veterans share a common bond—a brotherhood of memory and hardwon wisdom that defines their character...let us not forget our comrades who have made the supreme sacrifice to keep our country free...let us never forget our POW and MIA and their families, who are still waiting for answers. Please remember them in your prayers' Following the service, the legion treated the community to the traditional ham and beans luncheon. (AN photo by Teresa Hamsher)
