BOURBON - In the past few years, the Triton football program has advanced from the lower ranks to higher ground. Nearly five years ago, the program was on the brink and after last year’s first sectional win in quite a few years, Triton faces a new coach- anew coach that just began a month ago. “Timing needs to be a little better. Offense is a little slow: Good stuff, I saw some good hitting and intensity for our first kind of scrimmage,” were the first words from new coach Ron Wildman after a intersquad scrimmage. “I’m very happy, as late as I started and how die guys have reacted to me and all the new coaches. Give them all the credit, they have really stepped it up and have a good attitude. It is really neat to see. I am really happy that way.” Wildman begins his campaign after a very short period of being around. The new coach was hired in July after another coach decided to move on before the season even started. The Trojan coach will begin with a team that j finished 3-7 and lost quality and quantity from last season. See Triton, Page 13
