All-State selections last season. Returning is a junior class that appears ready to break onto the scene in a big way. Juniors Rob Riewoldt, Bobby Salinas, Eddie Rodriguez, Nick Chaney, Cody Thompson and Andy Haeck all started varsity games at one time or another for Condon, and split time with an undeieated JV squad. Actually, the PHS junior class has yet to lose a football game. Add key seniors Dan Denaut, Justin Koss, Nate Quick and David Cook who contributed mightily to Plymouth’s success a year ago, and you have a rock solid base to build on at the very least. “That’s where we’re at right now, we just have to be patient with those kids who don’t have any varsity experience,”

said Condon. “We think there’s some athletes there, and we realize they’re going to make some mistakes. We’ve got to do some coaching this year.”

In his place, junior Nick Chaney has the coach’s blessing. “He’s got a good temperment to be a quarterback, he’s not going to fold up and head out of town when the going gets tough or when things aren’t going well,” said Condon. “We
