either purchase or make clothing for them. NBD Bank also contributes fabric for blankets and clothing patterns for the dolls and bears. The project is coordinated by Sheiry /ohnson and Alisa Faclcelman of the NBD Human Resources Department. “Eighty employees from various departments, along with 40 friends and/or family members, have put their hearts into this worthwhile project,” Fackelman says. Some employees provide several outfits and accessories that make each doll or bear unique. The employees are glad to have the opportunity to provide these caring gifts for Elkhart area children. The dolls and bears will be on display in the lobby of all Elkhart County Banking Centers, from Monday, December 2 through Wednesday, Dec. 11. They will be distributed to Elkhart County children by the Salvation Army during the 1996 holiday season. Anyone who would like more information about the program should contact the Salvation Army at 219-294-6668. NBD Bank, headquartered at 121 W. Franklin St., Elkhart, is a subsidiary of First Chicago NBD Corporation.
