The Oklahoma City Children He strode from the wreckage with her in his arms. As though to shield her from further harm. His tears fell softly on her tiny face; Knowing life had left her without a trace. This child cduld be ours, and with pain in our heart. Our prayers for the mother to God depart. For grace we ask Him, and strength to live; Peace and comfort that only He can give. The blast of the bomb has taken away Their loved ones; their sense of safety this day. But even mOch more has the terrorist lost. For in the end, his soul it may cost. The mother's wail and the children's cry. From the bomb's wreckage, God hears from on high. And though her body is borne by mortal man. Her soul is with God, according to His plan. (By D. Leah on April 26,1996 For all the parents of the Oklahoma City Children.)
