at a high rate of speed in the downtown area. After making a traffic stop on the vehicle, it was determined after
a short investigation that the driver, 26-year-old Michael R. Finley, Lot 80 Meadows, Nappanee, was intoxicated, and also had a suspended driver’s license. Finley was then charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and driving while his license was suspended, along with an open container violation and the initial speeding violation of 51mph in a 25mph zone. Finley was transported to the Elkhart County Security Center, where he was held on a $2,000 bond pending a court date of Wednesday, November 1, in the Nappanee City Court.
