STUDENT PRODUCTION—Members of the NWHS Drama Department offered their spring musical, "Fiddler on the Roof,' Friday and Saturday nights, in the high school auditorium. Students provided excellent entertainment, playing to large and appreciative audiences each evening. The popular musical takes place in Anatevka, a small Russian village caught up in the unrest of the Russian Revolution in 1905. Pictured, below and clockwise: Chava (Kristen Weldy), Tzeitel (Abby Zeli), and Hodel (Kimberly Stuckman) join forces in the hit "Matchmaker" selection. Golde, as played by Lori Neufeldt; Tevye, portrayed by Aaron Nichols, and the constable (Mike Gottbrath), discuss the upcoming problems for the tiny village. Motel the tailor (Nick Collins) and Tzeitel share their delight in "Miracle of Miracles." The cast takes q well-deserved curtain call—a highlight of the production was an excellent rendition of the musical number "Tradition." From left, Brandon Potts, Matt Moyer, Rabbi (Mike Carl) and Zeb Metzler offer the villagers a special dance as part of the wedding ceremony. Hedde Meister is outstanding as the Fiddler. Matchmaker Yente (Tami Persing) and Golde discuss possible husband material for Golde's daughters. (Kim Keiser photos)
