Students in first hour classes were approached by council representatives, and asked if they would be interested in offering monetary andtor material help to families. Response was excellent, with some classes collecting SIOO in cash, in addition to canned goods and other gift items. A total of $650 was collected, to be used for helping with heating bills-the funds will be matched by NIPSCO.
