Ameritrust to extend new service

Ameritrust National Bank today announced it will be the first bank in " Ohio and Indiana to offer its customers an innovative extended warranty and insurance program protecting purchases made by writing a check. This service will be provided without charge and wil I be automatically bailable, effective in May, on all Ameritrust personal checking accounts. ' An extended warranty which doubles a manufacturer’s U.S. warranty for up to one additional year. This service is available on most warranties of five years or less for items costing up to 550.000 and purchased using an Ameritrust checking account. Purchase insurance for 90 days against loss, theft, damage or fire in excess of other applicable insurance. If the item is lost, stolen, or damaged, it will be replace without charge or the checking account holder will be reimbursed in full for the purchase price. Maximum coverage is $50,000 per account per year. Proof of purchase and a cancelled Ameritrust check arc required for payment of a claim. All AmcrilruVt personal checking accounts are automatically included. Johnson joins Sumpter Sumpter Real Estate and Investments is pleased to announce the addition of Wendy Thomson Johnson to its sales staff. Wendy is a graduate of Northrop High School, Fort Wayne, and has a B.A. degree from Indiana State University, Terre Haute, where she attended on a golf scholarship and worked as a Resident Assistant for the school.
