Moving trees

C & C Oil Company representative Sean Henisa is at the controls while Nappanee Park Department director Alan Duncan gives directions for moving 40 red and white pine trees. The trees have been donated by the company to the Park Department from the lot east of L. J. Wagner's on US 6. The company has purchased the property and will be developing Pantry Plus Food, a convenience store at the site. Complete training program Hardware Wholesalers, Inc. (HWI) has awarded Martin Hardware, 151 E. Market St, Nappanee, for successful completion of the Video Store Meeting Employee Training Program for 1986. The personnel of Martin Hardware have participated in a monthly videotape training program which Concentrates on techniques in customer relations, product knowledge, sales training, merchandising, and other topics essential to their development as industry professionals and dedication to customer service. HWI is a full-line distributor of hardware, lumber, and building materials which serves over 2,600 member stores in 36 states. Martin Hardware has been a HWI member since 1958.

If word processing, data base management and electronic spread sheets sound overwhelming, the library’s computer class may be just the place to cut those fears down to size. The library has been offering introductory computer classes which give even the beginningest beginner a hello to technology. About 50 person* ranging from high schooler to retiree signed up for the free classes' taught by library director Sandra 3reene and Linda Yoder last week.
