Close match for fifth grade On Tueeday, November 26, the Central fifth grade "Blue" took on the South "Chargers" at Nappanee Central. South took a one-point lead in the first, 7-6. Central "Blue" came back to lead 10-9 at the half. The Blue remained on top by one at the end of three, 16-15, but South came back at the last quarter, taking the game, 23-22. Leading scorers for Central were Mike Clouse and Steph Reed with six each. Mark Germann added four, and Josh Larrison, Jason Metzler, and David Botset, all netted a hoop. The Chargers were led by Vernon Weaver with 11. Tom Giles added another six, and Andy Culp, Terry Neiman, and Keith Troyer all got a bucket. Team record for Blue is 0-3; Chargers, 1-2.
