The following story was written by Rachel Pippen, for Mrs. Bowers, Rachel's third grade teacher at Central Elementary School. Once upon a time my mom made a dentist appointment for me. It was a little scary. The next day I went to the dentist’s office. He said my teeth were looking good, but one was loose. He said it should come out any time, but that night it fell out. I put it under my pillow. I fell asleep. At twelve o'clock I woke up. I saw the tooth fairy. She said “sh-h! don't wake anyone up. ” “Are you the tooth fairy?” “Yes, now come with me. Now close your eyes and count to three.' ’ I did. We were in tooth fairyland. It was neat, but there were teeth around. They walked and talked. There were people that were called tooth decay. There was a fence around the town of fairyland so the tooth decay could not come in, because the tooth decay people would make cavities The tooth fairies took teeth when they got pulled. They kept them safe from the tooth decay. In the morning, a tooth fairy came running into town and said, “the decay people are coming. Go home and get your toothbrushes and

And I would let them have time for lunch. And have time for two recesses. Howard Schwartz. If I were a teacher I would be mean. And get the children in trouble. And I would not let the children go out for recess. And I would be very mad when the children don’t learn. And I would make my

Once there was a cat named Wiskers. Wiskers had a wish. Wisker’s wish was he wanted to fly. But all of the other cats laughed and said it was a stupid wish. But Wiskers still wanted to fly. It reached August, and Wiskers lost his hope. He even jumped backwards and Raped his claws, but all that did was break his head. The next day, Makers met a little green man smaller than him. The little green man asked what his problem was. But Wiskers wouldn't say. “You would just laugh, too,” said Wiskers. But the little green man promised he wouldn’t laugh. “All right,” said Wiskers, “I want to fly!” It was quiet for a moment or two. Then Wiskers spoke, “You didn’t laugh”, said Wiskers in a happy voice. “Why, sure,” said the little green man, “I’ve heard lots of wishes like that.” "Now I recognize you,” said

In ballet, I want to be a teacher only for girls. I want to be rich to buy a Pepsi machine and to have a Pepsi store. I want to be a beautiful lovely ballerina. I want to wear a beautiful lovely costume and pointe shoes. And I could be like Floreana in the “Clue in the Crumbling Wall”. Elizabeth Greene. Wiskers, “You’re a leprechaun! ” "Quiet”, said the leprechaun. “Will you grant my wish, will you, will you?”, said Wiskers. “Yes”, said the leprechaun, “you shall fly”. Suddenly Wiskers was floating in the air. He floated for two months and two more. Wiskere wanted to come down, but he didn’t know how to get down. “What will I do?” said Wiskers. He called for the leprechaun, and he called, but the leprechaun was no where to be found. It reached March, and oh how Wiskers wished he could see the leprechaun again. POP-There he was. Wiskers said, “Please, let me down! ” “Oh, all right”, said the leprechaun, and Wiskers slowly went down to the ground. Wiskers thanked the leprechaun. Wiskers learned his lesson.
