After three snow cancellations the Nappanee seventh grade girls basketball team finally opened its season at Towncrest Thursday Nappanee lost a close exciting game by two points to Towncrest 31-29 High scorer of the game was Terry Klotz of Nappanee with 16 points. She also led Nappanee’s rebounding with 13.

Many people in the Wa-Nee area are enjoying the new popular sport called racquetball. The North Wood Activities Center and its racquetball court have brought to the community the new indoor game that is sweeping the nation.
