Notice to Bidders - Street Sweeper The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Nappanee, Indiana, will receive bids on January 26, 1961 at 4:00 p.m. at the Common Council Chambers in the Municipal Center in Nappanee, Indiana for the purpose of rental with option to purchase under certain terms and conditions of a street sweeper. Bids for the rental with option to purchase the said street sweeper shall state the contract price with a trade-in allowance for a 1969 Elgin street sweeper which can be seen at the Street Department Garage, Wabash Avenue. The sum of $5,000 shall be paid by the City upon delivery of the unit and the sum of SFive Thousand and no-100 shall be paid on or before June 30 and on or before December 30 of each year thereafter until the entire contract price is full paid, with payments commencing in June, 1982. Forms prescribed By-the State Board of Accounts and detailed specifications may be obtained at the office of the Clerk-Treasurer of the City, and all bids shall be submitted on such forms and shall be accompanied by a non-collusion affidavit and bid bond in cash, certified check or corporate surety in a sum equal to five per cent (5 pet.) of the total net bid.
