Carol moved to Nappanee from Mishawaka. She is employed by the law firm of Shrock and Davis, as a legal secretary. Carol resides at 251 W. Randolph St., Nappanee, with her husband, Don, and her son, David. Her hobbies include embroidery, refinishing furniture, and, with her husband, remodeling their home. Nappanee Civic Theatre audiences are promised a real eye-opening experience, when Carol walks on stage as Nurse MacKintosh, in the upcoming production of “The Sunshine Boys,” scheduled for October 25, 26 and 27. running a deficit when it should have been paying off earlier stimulation of the economy. Also disturbing, he observed, is that the Federal Reserve Board's policy has not, until just recently, been one of restraint but one of expansion, expanding the money supply faster than the supply of goods and services has expanded. But most disturbing, he emphasized, is an apparent change in government policy from controlling inflation to curbing unemployment. underlying inflationary pressures,” he said. “The result will be a deeper, more protracted recession later, probably after the (1980) election.” Turning to the local economy, Rees said that the RV industry will survive, but will have a bumpy road. Detroit, he commented, was not put out of business by a 300 percent increase in the price of gasoline. He added that the local unemployment rate is expected to increase as the national recession affects nonRV industry in the area, most of which, he said, have not yet fejt the recession.
