Michael Orn Weds Judith Kelly Judith L. Kelley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Kelly, Savanna, Illinois and Michael Ken Orn, son of Mr. and Mrs." Charles R. Orn,, of Nappanee, were unitin marriage, January 20 in a canidlelight ceremony at the First Methodist Church, in Savanna, Illinois, by Rev. William H. Fetz. The bride wore a floor length gown fashioned of Peau-taffetta, designed with a gently molded empire bodice scalloped sabrina neckline, slender tapered sleeves and controlled “A” flare skirt with detachable chapel train held at the hi-waistline by a large contoured bow. The gown was enhanced by Peau-di-ange, jewel encrusted lace appliques on bodice,

HASTINGS Mrs. Kenneth Heckaman World Service Day was observed Sunday morning at Island Chapel EUB church with a special service conducted by Mrs. Oscar Haney with help by various members of the congregation. Visitors were the Galen Haney family of North Webster and Mrs. Cloyd Heckaman of Bremen. The Ladies Aid will meet on Wednesday, February 7 at 7:30 in the church annex with Mrs. Harvey Hollar serving as hostess. Mrs. Robert Overstedt will speak about her button collection. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Yoder of Bloomington spent several days with his parents, the Rudy Yoders last weekend during midterm vacation at Indiana University. Mrs. Emma Biller and Mrs. Ej:ho Tusing visited Tuesday with Mrs. Gary Love and new baby in the Robert Krick home in Bourbon. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Wuthrich and family of Milford called Sunday afternoon on the Glen Wuthrich family. Mrs. Dean Thompson, the former Lou Ann Wyman, and baby son were the guests of honor Sunday afternoon at a baby shower given by Mrs. Kendall Biller and Spencer. Seating the guests were Stanley Geison and William Law. Michael Kelly and David Schreiner served as acolytes. Reception was held in the church social hall immediately following the ceremony. Aunts of the bride served at the reception table. Guests were present from Indiana, Kentucky, Virginia, Wisconsin, lowa, and Illinois;.
