New Council Has First Meeting Oh Tuesday, the hew Republican Common Council had its first meeting the shortest in recent years. I’hey talked about the new fire truck, due for delivery later this month. It had been recommended that a fern extras be included on it. The added features, including some hand rails and some electric line connections will cost an additional $370, and the Council approved this expense. This new pumper-tanker will pump 750 gallons of water a minute. The Council approved Mayor Pippen’s appointments of Richard Biever and David Widmoyer to the City PlaA Commission. Biever will be the representative from the Park Board and Widmoyer from the Council. There has still been no word about dissolving the present Utilities Company. Mayor Sinclair’s administration had passed an ordin-
