Troop 33 Has Its Court Os Honor A record number ol rank advancements and merit badges were presented to the Bey Scouts of Troop S3 at a Court of Honor on Wedhesday evening, November Id, at the West Side Park Pavilion. The boys were honored for their achievements following a family pot luck supper. The following boys received rank advancements: Life Scout Greg Prick; Star Scout Neil Hinton; First Class Scouts Neil Hinton, Scott Stalnaker, Gary Reed, flick Zercher, Dave Crane, Dennis Berger, Wally Anglemeyer, Brian Hoffer, Tom Bolyard, John Stalnaker, Bruce Zimmerman, and Bill Kurtz. The boys receiving Second Class Awards were Bill Yoder, Dick Rogers, Steve Reed, Dick Zercher, Tom Bolyard, John Stalnaker, Brian Hoffer, Bill Kurtz, Kenny Becker, Bruce Zimmerman, John Hochstetler, Steve Phillips, Larry Andrews, Nick Yoder. Karl Kindig, and Rick Dallas. The Tenderfooth Scouts inducted into the Troop were Tom Bolyard and. Karl Kindig. Several boys made two rank advancements since the last Court of Honor which is very outstanding. There were also a large number of merit badges presented to the following boys: Norb Hosier Leatherwork and Rowing; Rich Chapman—Cooking, Rowing, First Aid, and Leatherwork; Neil Hinton Swimming, First Aid, Rowing, Leatherwork, Pioneering, and Basketry; Scott Stalnaker Cooking, Swimming and Reading; Greg Frick Nature, Safety, Pioneering, Rowing, Canoeing, Cooking, and First Aid; Wally Anglemeyer First Aid, Cooking, Basketry, and Leatherwork, and Dick Zercher Leatherwork. Scoutmaster Dave Stalnaker reported to the parents attending that the scouts and their adult leaders have completed the new bridge over Turkey Creek to the camping area used by Troop 33 on the Otto Beer farm.
