LETTERS EDITOR, ADVANCE NEWS Last week I stalled my car at ; the stop light on East Market Street. In just a few minutes 3 small boys on bicycles came to me and ashed if they could push my car onto Summit Street to get ;t out of the line of traffic. I asked them to go to Bob’s Service Station and ask far help as I draught they could not push it. In just a couple minutes they were back and said the attendant was alone and could not come. They asked again to push the car, and I consented. They were very careful to stop the traffic and push me around the corner. | When I asked them what 1 owed them they were very sure they wanted no money. However, after arguing with thejn, they took some. This is to show you lhat there are some boys with line principles and doubtless fine

parents teaching these boys to be kind and helpful. I am sorry 1 not get the names of the boys but 1 hope they see this and know, hat I was truly grateful. Volunteer. The Howard Barricks are home again after an all expense paid vacation in Mexico City and Acapulco which they won in a contest sponsored by Chevrolet. During their week long vacation, which included three nights in each es these two locations, the Barricks stayed in the Pierre Marque in Acapulco. On a _deep sea fishing trip, Howard hooked a Marlin, but unfortunately the fish won its battle to escape the hook. A visit to the bullfights was one of the highlights of their trip. There were groups arriving daily from all over the states as a result of this contest and just on the Barrick's flight, there were 169 passengers, so the winners of this contest really took over Acapulco while they were there. The Barricks had dinner at a cliff side restaurant where they witnessed the 136 foot dive off the cliffs into Quebrada. Other sightseeing trips, shopping sprees, and cruise tours rounded out the very unforegettable trip. A trip down West Market Street is sure to reveal to you the most outstanding house in our town!! The house, which is being prepared to serve as our Sesquicentennial Headquarters, is being painted bright yellow and trimmed in blue and red. You can’t miss it! Our college students are returning for the summer and it’s nice to have them back again. A special invitation is extended to them to let me know of your plans and activities for the summer.
